Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Green Chic (“Green Chic,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit thegreenchicsa.com, create an account, reserve a pickup order, or participate in our rewards program.

Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, mobile number, and password hash. We do not collect date of birth as part of the rewards program.
  • Order data: items reserved, pickup location, order status, and redemption history.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and interactions collected via cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications: messages you send us (email, SMS replies, support tickets).

How we use it

  • Operate your account, process pickup orders, and administer the rewards program.
  • Send transactional messages (order status, account security) and — with your opt-in — marketing SMS and email. For order status by SMS, we record your choice at checkout per order; marketing SMS uses a separate opt-in (see our SMS Terms).
  • Verify age and identity at pickup as required by Texas law and our store policy.
  • Prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Improve our menu, website performance, and customer experience.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate the business, under contract, and only for the purposes we describe here. These include:

  • Hosting & database: Vercel, Supabase.
  • Email & SMS delivery: Brevo and its SMS partners.
  • Image delivery: Cloudinary.
  • Analytics: first-party and privacy-respecting analytics providers.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mobile opt-in data or phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing.

Your choices

  • Update or delete your account from the account profile page, or email support@thegreenchicsa.com.
  • Opt out of marketing SMS any time by replying STOP. See our SMS Terms.
  • Opt out of marketing email by using the unsubscribe link in any message.
  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, audit, and legal obligations. Order records are retained for at least the period required by Texas law for regulated retail operations.

Children

Our services are for adults 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here with a new effective date; material changes will be communicated by email or a prominent site notice.
